Hello.
Misentangled Lantern...musically, is mellow. It is an extension of playing for years, studying theory, and learning the ins and outs of recording. I want to create beautful music...anything happy and disasterous. The name came to me in the shower...it made me laugh and seemed fitting. My intentions were to just use my name, but my name is too common to use. A lantern is a source of light...or hope, in a way. Think of the idea...hope mixed up in all the wrong places. Yet, it is not meant to mislead. What if YOU were a shining light somewhere you couldn't escape?

The tune Out of Necessity is somewhat of an overview. Besides the beat I created in Fruity Loops, all the other instrumentation was done on my ESP LTD H-207. In my head, I had this notion of "including but not limited to...". It is an attempt at setting the bar at an ideal...an ideal that doesn't limit creativity. The mix on the tune isn't final. It isn't mastered. It's good, but I doubt final mixes will end up online until the cd is done and that wont be for a while. Enjoy.
